Who We Are

Stack Architect operates stackarchitect.xyz — a collection of free tools and guides for Shopify store owners. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

We collect the following data when you interact with the site:

• Email address: when you sign up for guides or deployment plans. Depending on the form, your address is sent to Systeme.io or Beehiiv, which store it and send the emails.
• Analytics data, only if you accept: page views and interaction events collected by Google Analytics 4. It is off unless you choose to turn it on. See Cookies and Analytics Consent for exactly what is recorded.
• Purchase data: payments for the Complete Kit and the single blueprints are taken by Stripe on its own checkout pages. We never see your card details. Stripe shares your email address and the purchase with us so we can deliver the product.
• Page counts: when any page is requested, our server adds one to a daily count for that page, the kind of client that asked for it (a browser, or a search engine crawler that names itself), the website that linked to it (the site name only, never the address of the page) and the country Cloudflare reports. No cookie, IP address, browser details or other identifier is stored, so this count cannot tell one visitor from another. It happens whatever your analytics choice, because it records nothing about you.
• Partner link counts: when you follow one of our partner links (addresses starting /go/), our server adds one to a daily count for that link, the place on the page it sat in, and the page you clicked from. No cookie, IP address, browser details or other identifier is stored, so this count cannot tell one visitor from another. It happens whatever your analytics choice, because it records nothing about you.

Affiliate Links and Third Parties

Stack Architect uses affiliate links to Make.com, Systeme.io, GetResponse, Beehiiv, Tidio, Gorgias and Google Workspace. If you click an affiliate link and sign up, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. These links are marked with rel="sponsored" in the page source. Third-party platforms may set cookies and collect data per their own privacy policies.

Server-Side Tracking Disclosure

This site uses Google Analytics 4 for traffic measurement, and only if you accept it. We do not use Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or advertising pixels on stackarchitect.xyz itself. The CAPI Shield and tracking tools described on this site are implementations for your Shopify store. You are responsible for your own privacy policy disclosures when implementing those tools.

Cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to see which pages and tools people find useful. It is optional and off by default. On your first visit a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies, with Accept and Reject buttons. Until you press Accept, the site does not load Google's analytics script, sends nothing to Google, and sets no analytics cookies.

If you accept, GA4 records the pages you view, how far down a page you scroll, clicks on partner, checkout and other outbound links, email form submissions, and when you first use a calculator. It also records the site that sent you here and any campaign tags in the link you arrived by. We see this as reports; we do not use it to identify you. Accepting turns on analytics storage only. Google's advertising settings stay off, and this site runs no advertising tags.

With your consent, these are stored in your browser:

• _ga and _ga_TE6Z6CW514: cookies set by Google Analytics so it can recognise a returning browser.
• sa_attr: a cookie this site sets for 30 days when you click a partner or checkout link, noting the page you clicked from and how you arrived.
• sa_landing: a note in session storage of the page you landed on and the site that sent you, deleted when you close the tab.

When you accept, a checkout link also carries a short note of how you reached the site (landing page, referring site and campaign tags) to Stripe, so we can see which pages lead to sales. Without consent it carries only the name of the button you pressed.

If you reject, nothing is sent to Google and none of the above is stored. The rest of the site works exactly the same.

Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage as sa_consent, so the banner does not ask again. It holds only your answer. Some features also keep small notes in your browser that they need to work, such as remembering that you closed a prompt; these hold no personal information and are not used for analytics.

To change your choice, press the button below and the banner will appear again. If you change from Accept to Reject, the site deletes its analytics cookies and reloads the page. Clearing this site's data in your browser settings also resets your choice.

No advertising cookies are set by Stack Architect. Partner sites may set their own cookies once you leave this site through one of their links.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold. To exercise these rights, email support@stackarchitect.xyz. Email subscribers can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.

Data Retention

Email subscriber data is retained while your subscription is active. GA4 keeps event-level data for the retention period set in our Google Analytics property; Google offers 2 or 14 months. Daily page and partner link counts hold no personal data and are kept indefinitely. Purchase records are retained as required for legal and accounting purposes.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
